If you’ve been following me and my blog for this long, then you know I am a HUGE fan of animal print. It’s a trend that is timeless and has so many different styles; cheetah, leopard, cow and of course snakeskin.
This snakeskin trench coat was a gift from my grandma (I know, isn’t she fabulous?!). At first I was hesitant because I am petite and usually like my clothes to fit snug. However, my love for snakeskin and the fact that there was a trench coat covered in it, caused me to make an exception.
It’s amazing what happens when you step outside of your comfort zone, especially when it comes to fashion. I actually love the fact that this trench coat is slightly oversized…it just screams BOSS to me. You can find a similar snakeskin trench coat here.
Alright now, let’s get into these snakeskin booties! If you follow me on Instagram (which you should), you’ll recognize them from my IG stories. I purchased these from Walmart! I was originally there to look at grills for the Spring/Summer season. However, when I passed a rack of shoes that were on clearance and noticed these were only $1?!?! I just couldn’t past them up. They were originally $20-something dollars — what a steal! You can find similar snakeskin booties here.
Wearing matching prints can be a BOLD move. Be prepared to have all eyes on you. I like to keep these few things in mind: 1. Don’t over do it, 2. It doesn’t have to be matchy matchy (notice my trench coat and shoes are actually two different shades of snakeskin) and 3. Don’t you dare unless you plan to wear the CONFIDENCE to match. Happy slaying girl!
