Plenty of Fenty: Pro Filt’r Foundation Review

Plenty of Fenty: Pro Filt’r Foundation Review

Fenty Beauty is what everyone has been talking about…and they’re using one word to describe it- SHOOK!

Now as a makeup lover, beauty enthusiast, and former MUA…it was only right that I see firsthand what all the hype was about.

The new cosmetic line is EXCLUSIVELY sold at Sephora and so far it includes: 40 shades of foundation, a universal gloss bomb, shimmering highlighters, cream highlighters and contour sticks, along with a face primer translucent pressed powder, and cosmetic brushes.

Now when I say the new line is what everyone’s been talking about, there’s one product in particular that people just can’t get enough of- the foundation! So of course I had to get my hands on it.

Truthfully, I was so annoyed with everyone using the same word to describe their reaction to the foundation…shook, shook, shook. But, after trying it myself, there is no other term more fitting. The foundation is weightless as ever, it feels like you’re wearing nothing and it looks like it too! Even my mom couldn’t tell I had on foundation because instead of it appearing cakey it looked like skin.

It has a soft matte finish and is medium to full coverage…I only needed two layers to get to full coverage.

I used my other holy grail products to fulfill this look, and topped it off with RiRi’s universal gloss bomb. Now this gloss is something special! Unlike most lip glosses, it is NOT sticky. Instead, it’s somewhat moisturizing and smells amazing!

SN: The foundation shade I am using is shade 330 (a shade lighter than my actual match which was 350…but they were all out!) If you find yourself dealing with the same problem, here’s a quick fix:

***Blend evenly and thoroughly (beauty blender girl!). Highlight minimally. Contour and bronze to perfection! Voila 💋

I’ll probably keep this foundation shade because once my tan wears off it’ll be perfect!

Thanks RiRi, you definitely came through! 🙌🏽
