11 Must Have Self-Care Essentials

Listen, I do not play when it comes to self-care. I take it super serious and am a firm believer in taking the time to take care of yourself. Simply because you can’t pour from an empty cup! My self-care days are very important to me, and so are the products+tools that I use.

In today’s post I’ll be sharing my self-care essentials. Of course you you don’t have to have every single thing listed, but these items will definitely step up your selfceare routine!

Microfiber Headband

A microfiber headband is the perfect self-care accessory. It’s great for putting your hair up when you’re doing skincare, makeup or even taking a hot bath. Plus they’re super cute and soft!

Body Wash + Foam Bath

In the past I’ve strictly used bubble bath for my self-care days. However, I recently discovered this 2-in-1 product from Bath & Body Work’s. It’s a body wash and foam bath (and if you were wondering, there’s really not a difference between bubble bath and foam bath products…the bubbles are the same). Bonus! This is a bit cheaper than the bubble bath products at Bath & Body Work’s. I also love that if you don’t feel like taking a bath, you can still light some candles, turn on some music and use the same product as a body wash in the shower instead!

Loofah

Every woman should have a Loofah in their shower! If not, get you one ASAP. They’re super affordable and just feel really good on the skin when you’re in the shower or bath. They also help exfoliate the skin and stimulate blood circulation!

Lotion/Body Spray

I love feeling good and smelling good. Whenever I step out of the tub or shower, I almost always follow-up with a scented, moisturizing lotion and body spray. I recently purchased this new scent from Bath & Body Work’s called “Dahlia” and I am obsessed. It has notes of dahlia petals, crisp pear and praline. Any scent that calms and relaxes you is perfect to add to your self-care routine.

Sleep Mask

A sleep mask is perfect for ending your self-care day or even taking a quick nap. I prefer Satin sleep masks because they feel so soothing on the eyes.

Candles

Candles obviously set the mood and help you unwind. Bath & Body Work’s has a great selection of aromatherapy candles that are perfect to light whether you’re reading a book or taking a hot bath. One of my favorite’s is the White Tea & Sage candle. It smells soooo good!

Mio Microdermabrasion

The Mio Microdermabrasion device is a great tool to use if you want to give yourself a spa treatment at home. The device uses vacuum suction to resurface the skin. It’s perfect for reducing blackheads, whiteheads and acne scarring. It also targets congested areas to purify and shrink pores.

Jade Facial Roller

The Jade Facial Roller is a skincare tool used to help serums and moisturizers better absorb into the skin. It also calms and deputes the skin along with soothing inflammation. Using the Jade roller daily can relive tension and gives your skin a natural toning and lifting effect.

Facial Hair Remover

If you hate tweezing…this tool is for you! The Flawless Facial Hair Remover is an instant and painless hair remover that removes hair from the upper lip, cheek, chin, eyebrows, etc. There are no burns, irritation or anything after use! it’s gentle enough to use everyday and your hair won’t grow back faster!

Glam Glow Mask

You guys should know by now that the Glam Glow Mask is one of my holy grail face masks. Whether you have a blemish or dark spot, after using this mask you literally see results and improvement in your skin within days! Masking is the ultimate form of self-care, and this one is perfect!

Freeman’s Apple Cider Vinegar Mask

If you prefer a more affordable mask, Freeman’s mask line is the way to go! Their masks are less than $10. My current fave right now is the Apple Cider + Vinegar mask. You can use it as either an exfoliating cleanser or mask. This line has so many different masks to choose from, so definitely check them out!

XO,

Jamie
