So many brands have been dropping tinted moisturizers back to back, so I just knew I had to get my hands on one.
Of course when I seen Fenty drop theirs, I was already sold that it’d be the first one I’d try.
Confession: I have never EVER tried any type of tinted moisturizer before.
Purpose of a Tinted Moisturizer
A tinted moisturizer is perfect for those days when you want a “my skin, but better look”. They’re typically lightweight, giving you light and even coverage. This is the perfect option for a SUPER natural makeup look.
Fenty Skin Tint Details:
– buildable light to medium coverage
– visibly evens out complexion with a blurred effect
– humidity, sweat and transfer resistant-formula
How to Apply:
Since this is a tinted moisturizer I like to apply it like I would any moisturizer— with my hands. Afterwards, I like to go over everything with a flat stipling brush or beauty blender (non damp) to make sure everything is even! If you have any dark spots or blemishes, I recommend applying this tinted moisturizer FIRST and the going over any imperfections with a concealer that matches your skin tone (be sure to blend it out with a beauty blender or brush afterwards).
If you’re oily like me, I’d also recommend setting your tinted moisturizer with a powder like the Laura Mercier Honey Translucent Powder or your shade in the Fenty Pro Filt’r Powder Foundation (use a fluffy brush so to keep the look natural and avoid doing the most)!
My Final Thoughts
I love, love, love! Tinted moisturizers will definitely be the move this summer — specifically the Fenty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin tint. It feels incredibly lightweight yet still offers amazingly natural coverage. It also has skin-blurring technology that works! I didn’t even have to apply my Benefit Pore-fessionals Pore Primer.
Considering this was my first time using a tinted moisturizer, I was highly satisfied with the Fenty Skin Tint. Will definitely be keeping this one in my makeup collection.
